With Ryder becoming a forward and our young KPB consisting of Pears, Hurley and Daniher does it seem likely one of Neagle or Gumbleton won't become the long term player we hope for because there isn't room for them?

Also, Knights comments on depth today got me so excited that I created my best 18. Look at the choices I had left for the bench!

Winderlich Fletcher McVeigh
Pears Hurley McPhee
Stanton Watson Prismall
Lovett Ryder Lloyd
Reimers Lucas Davey
Hille Lonergan Welsh

Myers Hocking Zaharakis Laycock Dempsey Houli Jetta Neagle Monfries Skipworth Slattery Daniher Dyson Bellchambers Nash Gumbleton

That makes Natrat 35th in line :D

Thoughts on the main point of the thread please! Sorry I just get too excited, too easily

If Neagle and Gumbleton are good enough there is room for them in our forwad line. Ryder can be moved around.

Ryder, Neagle and Gumby as the key forwards.

Pears, Hurley and DD as the key defenders.

They can all fit.

Yeh like that. Have a feeling Knights will target a key midfielder this draft to help out Prismall and McViegh in the midfield

We have drafted talls for the last 5 years. (You can add Laycock and Bradley to that list)
We need to get some class running through the middle next year.

lets trade for jarrad mcveigh from sydney...... maybe mark can convince him to join as sydney may be looking at some dark times in the future with an ageing list??

It's out of the guy with the messed up back and the bloke who can't run who drops out. I'm tipping it'll be the latter. Not convinced on him, getting less convinced as every year goes by. More talented CJ?

If the 3 young tall backs can all show something in another 10 or 15 games this year, I'll be very very happy

EDIT: unclear what i meant

People have certainly gone cold on Gumbleton of late... kid will be a star!

More patience from the Bomber "faithful" is required.

I`ll never give up on Gumby, you can just tell he`s going to be very good, his only problem is in the luck department, the only thing holding him back is his body. Neagle I have huge concerns over.

I just think Neagle is lazy and the penny has yet to have dropped on what it takes to play at the top!
