Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm getting married tomorrow, then I'm going away for a couple of weeks to New Zealand for the honeymoon. :D So hope all of you have a great couple of weeks...I know I will! :D But a bit nervous at the moment about the actual wedding....hope I don't do anything stupid like fall over & make an arse of myself.....or start laughing during the ceremony.
Seeya all when I get back!:D

Congratulations and best wishes on your marriage. I've seen a lot of north NZ and could give you travelling tips, but since as it is your honeymoon you wont need it.:D

Well done, congratulations to both, and have a great time.
As rubberman said, sightseeing is supposed to be good, but perhaps next time. :)

Is there some reason why they will not be sightseeing?:D :D :D

Congratulations.

And you have no excuse for forgetting your anniversary either, you can remember it as "The day after Steve made 10,000"

All hail the man of steel.

All the best for the future! :)

You should have a great time in NZ as it woderful place. This is probably a bit later, but if you are going to the South Island, Queenstown is a must see. Also, I would strongly recommend a heli-hike on either of the ice glaciers (ie. Fox or Franz Joseph).

Hey everyone,
Thanks for all your best wishes! The wedding went pretty smoothly, & everyone seemed to get along OK. We're now in New Zealand. We're actually doing a coach tour of both islands. So far, we've been to Christchuch, Lake Tekapo, Omarama, Oamarou, Dunedin, Mount Cook, Dunedin, Milford Sound & are in Queenstown at the moment. We went on this really cool 8 wheeler bugger ride down to see the penguins & seals in Dunedin, & this morning in Queenstown we went on the Shotover jets, which were great fun! Oh, & we went on the Gondola ride last night to get up the the Skyline restaurant. There like chair lifts, but they're enclosed & they go up really steep.
Hope all of you are well...dunno if I'll get another chance on the internet before the end of the trip.
Seeya!

It is great to see a dedicated Port supporter, who would take time out from her honeymoon just to visit this board! Pure dedication:D
Nice to hear that everything went smoothly and that you are having a great time.

Sounds good that your wedding went well. My parents are around that area at the moment. They arrived there today sometime.

LOL, yeah, well, I've just taken a bit more time out now. We're staying near the Fox Glacier tonight. Hoping to go for a helicopter ride & land on the glaciers tomorrow morning, but if the weather stays like it is now, they'll be cancelling the rides. :(

OK, well, I'm back in Perth now! Just got back last night. WE had such a great time. Didn't get to go on the Helicopter ride to the glacier though, which was a shame. BUt had a pretty good time in the NOrth Island too. Particularly Rotorua. Went on the gondulas there & also on the luges a couple of times. Glad to be home now though & can't wait till footy season starts! :D

Received an sms from my girlfriend yesterday about 'Stinky' Rotorua, the smell wasn't too good apparently however the sight seeing wasn't too bad.

He he, yeah, it does get quite a bit smelly. But it's a great place to look around & the thermal spas are great! :D
