I hereby declare that Roys fans claim sole rights to football big league angst.
1 point loss in a grand final? Phooey.
Best loved player sacked by management? Phooeyer.
Incessant blowing of decent leads? Phooeyest.
All fans of other clubs declaring disappointment about anything are DREAMING.
Angst is ours, folks. Raise the flag!

Nope, no contest. They should be happy with what they've got.
South Melbourne have keep the basic neculus of the club alive with the jumper and history, the club just relocated.
Brisbane are still in Brisbane and they at least see 12 games a year.
University did suffer but had the pleasure of a major war shortly after their death to see most other clubs drop out for a few years.
SANFL/WAFL/TAFL have seen the standard of their competitions drop as the AFL has destroyed local footy competitions.

SANFL/WAFL/TAFL all at least still have most clubs in existence, running around in the primary competition(s) for that state.
University never had a chance to develop the h-word.

No other club comes close...yet.

We have been totally screwed by the AFL.
The SANFL/WAFL/TAFL etc the clubs that have merged at least they are still in the same city.

We're still the most angstabual footy entity. Kssshh.
Fitzroy would be a model citizen in todays AFL...$1.million debt, fine the AFL will help you out, but you have to pay 92.5% of the cap (I don't think we ever exceeded that, in fact didn't they bring in a minimun salary cap because of us?)...the amount of things that clubs get away with (and we were crucified for) is a joke.
I reckon we've got just cause to carry a chip on our shoulders.

South Melbourne have just blown their angst stocks. Winning a flag sure don't keep you crying into your beer!
