should be a great game - i've tipped Sydney.
But i think if Essendon get their noses in front the could run away with the match and take it by 10-12 goals.
Hopefully, i can get my tickets back and get out there.

If the weather is as bad as people are saying, I think it will be a fairly scrappy game, with low scores.
I don't think the winning margin will be more than 2 goals, which ever way it goes.

i told you the Bombers would run away with the match once they got in front.
Well done because i hate the Swans with a passion.
Yep, it was great to see some genuine desperation back in the boys play.
I thought the pressure they put the Swans under was terrific. Like last week, injuries had an impact, this time we were lucky.
All in all a magnificent win. I'd almost forgotton how good it feels to win a game you weren't really expecting to. Almost http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif
Just shows that there are a lot of people with a very short memory!

I have a feeling this comment was directed at me.
If it was directed at me, i would ask you to please go through all of those posts from last week and tell me when i gave the Bombers crap for losing - i think i may have done it once and left it at that. Unlike most people, i didn't get to carried away with it.
If that comment wasn't directed at me, then you have my apologies for jumping like that.

Not directed at you at all WCE2000, it was directed at 3/4 of the population who seemed to have forgotten that Essendon are still a top class team, despite losing a game and despite losing some quality players. It was directed at those people who started writing Essendon off based on one poor performance.

I tellya what, I almost did. As I was putting in my tips this week I stewed over this one for a half hour and finally decided to go with my gut.
I think the fact that we were considered an underdog was enough. We weren't gonna lose back to back games, either.

I agree, I almost tipped against us after I heard who was out & the fact that the Swans have a good record at the SCG, fortunately I went with my heart & not my head. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well, I tipped Dons easy, even without some of your guns. Swans are overrated I reckon, they are a team of good solid players but you have class players on every line and are a real champion side. The Dons showed last night who were the best side in the league and who were the pretenders. Go the Dons. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif
