Looked very good, composed got plenty of it, of course it was against the worst side in the AFL, but you can only play what is infront of you. I Hope he can hold his spot with McVeigh,Reimers and Lonergan coming back, can he?

On Sunday's performance, the answer is simply yes. He was very, very good. But, he's a first year player, and I expect he will show some inconsistency, so he'll be in out most likely.
But it was the best Essendon debut I've ever seen.
I'm 31.

Surely they will give him another game this week? be interesting to see how he goes against the blues. "They know we're coming" course you bloody are, you have all the draft picks :)

Just remember who said first he'd be a 200 game champion for Essendon :)
Does this mean Quinny is bound to get it Round 3 ;)
Imagine that :D

Hard to stuff up with so many picks, But i am sure you will find a way :) I hope my club gets a top 3 pick eventually at some stage, gold coast gets 1,2,3,4,5 yet we couldn't get one in the top 3 :)
Zaka might have to come into my dream team soon looks solid. Gets marks.
Quinn looked ok, but i would have thought Beams would have got the gong infront of Quinn.

Scott Cummings was the best I've seen:o
Hopefully David's career is more distinguished

I'll second that.
8 goals was a great effort from the fat fella, he was destroying them in the reserves before his debut, something like 3-4 consecutive bags of 10+.
Shame Sheeds had to play him at CHB....

I think his most important stat on the weekend was number one on the ground for distance gained, shows how much his possessions and run hurt the opposition.
stay true

That's an interesting type of statistic. Is it champion data and where is it published?

I agree. Was at the game. He kicked 8 goals didnt he? Was an unbelievable performance.
If I recall correctly, one of Todd Ridley's debut games was pretty impressive also.

Was in the herald sun... accidentally threw it out, but it was somewhere around 520 metres.

good job to him! He dominated far more than Beams from collingwood. im annoyed that he played soo good now beams doesnt get a nomination !
lol... Zaharakis looks like Leigh Montagna
not only that, but he plays exactly like him too (even his stats are showing similarity), wears the same no.11, and has a weird foreign surname that no-one can pronounce.
somebody send this to The Age look-a-likes

I'd be happy if he turned out as good as Montagna.

Technically, 3
Bombers - Rd 2, 1991, 13 touches, 4 goals :thumbsu:
Freo - Rd 1, 1995, 12 touches, 3 goals, 2 Brownlow votes
Hawks - Rd 6, 1997, 10 touches, no goals.

Well they arent debut's. One is a debut, the rest are first games for a club. Its a technicality i suppose. Brent Prismall will be playing his first game for Essendon, but he has made his debut already.

Yeah, I know, just taking the urine.:p
But I'm gonna forget Prismall ever played for the Handbaggers...
