I was going to say Lukey Power, but he didn't make an appearance until 98.
I reckon its Daniel Bradshaw.

Well done, SB! Yes, surprisingly Daniel Bradshaw has a record of 2.132 goals per game, just ever so slightly ahead of Lynch on 2.126.
12) Who's third on this list?

Thanks. Yeah Daniel Bradshaw stood out to me. He also has played less games than Lynchy for the Lions and that got me thinking it was him.
I am tossing up between a few players on this one. I'll go with Luke Power.

I'd say Bradshaw
BrainOfMorbius
10 Jan 2003, 09:05
Well, Bradshaw can't realistically be first AND third, unless you mean Darren - but his average is zero. Not Luke Power either. What were your other options, SB?
Natogen

Akermanis?

Not Akermanis, either.
The list is
1 Daniel Bradshaw (2.132)
2 Alastair Lynch (2.126)
3 ???
4 ???
5 Luke Power (1.274)
6 ???
7 Jason Akermanis (1.208)
8 ???
9 ??? (1.000)
= ???
= ???
There are three people equal in ninth position with an even 1 goal per game. Anyone want to fill in the blanks?
BrainOfMorbius

A hint for third spot - he's the only other player to average 2 goals per game or higher, and he's not one you'd automatically think of.

Derek Wirth? Played one game scored 2 goals?
BrainOfMorbius
10 Jan 2003, 09:32
Heh - someone's just checked their records :) Well done Natogen! Derek Wirth was a local QAFL player (Mt Gravatt) who played against Melbourne in Round 18 1998 for seven possessions, 3 marks and 2 goals straight. At the end of the season he was delisted, drafted by Geelong and didn't make their seniors. He's now back in the AFLQ playing for Redland Bombers.
1 Daniel Bradshaw (2.132)
2 Alastair Lynch (2.126)
3 Derek Wirth (2.000)
4 ???
5 Luke Power (1.274)
6 ???
7 Jason Akermanis (1.208)
8 ???
9 ??? (1.000)
= ???
= ???
Who's next?
Craig McRae should squeeze in there somewhere.

1 Daniel Bradshaw (2.132)
2 Alastair Lynch (2.126)
3 Derek Wirth (2.000)
4 Jarrod Molloy (1.704)
5 Luke Power (1.274)
6 Damian Cupido (1.230)
7 Jason Akermanis (1.208)
8 Craig McRae (1.128)
9 ??? (1.000)

Don't know the other 3. I presume they could be either Voss, Headland, Black, Lappin, Leppitsch.
I know I am in the right order of Molloy, Cupido and McRae, but the figures may just be out.

The other 3 I will give a go.
9. Nigel Lappin
Michael Voss
Des Headland

Dead on, SB. The last three, all tied on a goal a game, are Headland, Brown and Leppitsch.

In a flash of inspired brilliance, I thought I had the answer to this one, being..........
......in 2001 we wore white shorts and in 2002 we wore our "home" maroon ones.
Then again, the question is about the "jumpers", so maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.
Or am I?
