Set to make ODI debut...

Interesting to see Harwood called up, our stocks are really low at the moment. Can't see the point of playing someone who is 35 years old, when we should be seeing what Laughlin has got.

Good on Harwood for getting the call up but hadn't he flown home already? Seems a bit silly to fly him back over when Laughlin is already over there.

He was already in Sth Africa for IPL. Agreed, not much upside.

Yes I realise he was in South Africa however why do we need to play him when we could be giving Laughlin the chance to impress.
Harwood won't be in Australia's side in ODI cricket for the future and is only in the 20-20 side for this year's world cup. Short term solution, I'd rather give guys who will be around in the future the chance to play.
But good on Harwood, has definitely continued to improve as a cricketer, pity he isn't 30 years old.

Much rather see Dirty Dirk Nannes ruffle a few feathers.

Brett Geeves is out because of an injured foot, and has been replaced by Shane Harwood, who'll be making his debut. He's 35. Bob Simpson beat him to that, though. He was 42 when he played his first ODI.

Who the hell is Laughlin anyway? Much rather play the form player than the young player. Laughlin would not get a game at Victoria, why should he get one for Australia?!
