All three have not nominated for the draft. Very strange. I thought all of them could have been picked up, Connell may have needed a bit of luck but thge other two surely could go on.

I would have thought Connell had the best chance of being picked up. He's an ordinary kick but gets a lot of it.

Bond is too injury prone & I don't think any other club would have taken a chance on him.

Theissen has never impressed me as an AFL standard player.

All three of those players are in the dime-a-dozen bracket. Why give up one of your 38 spots for someone you know is an average player when there's so much potential young talent in the draft.

Connell and Thiessen can still nominate for the December draft.

Bond is going to coach a team in the hills - Onkaparinga I think.

however, bond was good in the 97 gf, 4 goals
connell was alright in both GF's
and Thiessen was excellent in the 98 gf

ill miss all three of them!

Yeah I remember Thiessen was very lively in that 98' GF against the roos. Didn't hear much about him after that, although I understand he was injured for a while.

Bond, as someone mentioned, is too injury prone. Was good when fit though...likened him to Wanganeen.

Connell's finished I reckon. Sure he knocks up possessions, but he can't use the pill.
