Of course it took the greatest mark ever for it to happen. Found it on youtube.

On Wallsy, he was on 5AA yesterday over in Adelaide and he stated that if Carlton played Essendon 10 times, that they would win 7-8 times. Then why have we won the last 4? Nob.
Our pace was always going to worry Carlton and we match up on them very well. A fit McVeigh would also curtail Judd, so you could argue that if we were to play Carlton 10 times, we would win at least 7 or 8 times!!!!!

Hird was in the ruck:DNah, it was Judd Lalich. Good name that... Judd. ;)

I especially liked where he relayed the story told to him by Lloyd that Fev went up to Darcy Daniher as they were lining up and said, "if you're still on me by 3QT i'll give you $100".
Seemed to think it was humourous and a positive sign of the old Carlton arrogance coming back.
This is the same Robert Walls who slaughtered Tredders and Chad incessantly for bowing to their fans and highstepping and clapping after goals during the Prelim Final rout of the Roos and has derided us as 'arrogant', 'big heads' and 'downhill skiiers' every other week since.
But when Fev belittles a young kid like that before the first bounce in a game that ended up being a huge boilover, it's all fun and games.
Hypocritical dunce of the highest order.

It made Bruce tingle. I don't know whether that is good or bad. The best mark ever.

Did anyone catch 'One week at a time' Monday night on oneHD?
Lloyd was on guest on the show,
and still Walls didn't have many nice things to say.
A question Walls was asked was 'Who is the hero of the week'?
He's reply was "Has much has it pains me to say...Lloyd'.
I really don't care,
because his opinion isn't worth much to anyone...
but I would love to see Lloyd or another player such as McVeigh (he has the balls to do so I would think)...Ito put him on the spot and ask him "What is your problem with the Essendon Football Club?" Let it go...get over it you twit" That would make my day... :D
Walls is a spanker.
I remember that mark...
I was there, not far from it either...
it happened in slow mo. WHAT A RIPPER!!!

Sadly that mark is no longer legal and the game is poorer for it.
Poor guy busted his pelvis on landing in that mark and it was pretty much the start of the end of his career. :(

I know the bloke has great football knowledge, but surely channel 10 should be onto Walls by now. Either ban him from calling carlton games or get him out of the media. Ditto for Tim Lane. Interestingly, Tim Lane wasn't commentating on sat nite. Anything to do with carlton playing i wonder?
