Out of those three, Hauritz. He's the best at keeping it tight.

However with Warne in the side, Lehmann is good enough second spinner.

I'd pick this player

ONE-DAY INTERNATIONALS

M I NO Runs HS Ave SR 100 50 Ct St
244 236 20 8500 173 39.35 76.83 18 50 108 0

O M R W Ave BBI 4w 5w SR Econ 614.3 11 2938 85 34.56 5-24 1 1 43.3 4.78

but he has been dropped.

BTW he has declared himself available for the World Cup - are the selectors feeling the heat. Considering he was just waiting for the season to end and hang up his bat - then a dashing 108 N.O.

Welcome back Mark Waugh.

I also want Mark Waugh and Steve Waugh to come back to ODI's. But it is too late for them to be included in the World Cup squad isn't it?

Hauritz

Hogg is a contender for the worst player ever to play for Australia

108 on a ground the size of a tablecloth isn't exactly the same as a World Cup Final.

I agree with DaveW, with Warne in the side, Lehmann is adequate as a second spinner, and as opposed to MacGill, Hauritz, etc. he is a second spinner that can play alongside Warne instead of just in his place.

I didn't mention players like Lehmann or Symonds because I was refering too a 2nd spinner for when Warne isn't playing or they take two frontline spinners into a oneday game.

Nathan Hauritz.

I can't work out whether Hogg is in the side as a batsman, bowler or fieldsman.

Mark Higgs for the second spinner.
Handy with the bat and a good fieldsman

Darren Lehmann has done a marvellous job so far when he has been tossed the ball and once he is fit again, he will be back in the side.

In my opnion,

if you going for a left Orthodox spinner, id pick a Darren Lehnmann, Mark Higgs, etc ahead of Brad Hogg, none will pick up huge amounts of wicket, just the occasional wicket, at least that way, you are getting more batting ..
