Cmon crows fans.....start using this board, at the moment, it sucks!

Nothing to talk about.

I'd post here more, but I get embarrassed seeing my name so much, with no-one else posting here. Same as the official Crows web-site forum http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/redface.gif(

But it's true, there's not much happening. In the Adelaide papers it's all Power, Power, Power, with now and then a little tid-bit about the Crows.

And why is everyone bagging Gary as the worst coach? Gee, is he that hopeless? I reckon the players had a bit to answer for last year.

I also noticed that they have an awful lot about port in teh paper at the moment.

It got a bit ridiculous when they had the 3/4 page article about how Williams picked up a stick at training http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif

Triggy must still be on his summer hols - usually The Advertiser is nothing but a Camrys shrine...

Would that be, Mr Danger, because 85% of the S.A. population prefer to hear about the Crows. I think I detect a little sniff of jealousy here.

What a lot of absolute garbage. Im a port fan, and during footy season, youd be lucky to see 2 articles a week on port, while the back page is religously covered by a crow story of some sort. You look on the AFL website, 80% of ports stories you have to wade thru a story on the crows to come to a 5 line story on the power taped onto the end of the crow story. The Advertiser is very crow bias even with Rucci there. Crows always get back page, crows always get front page and middle page on Footy Monday no matter win lose or draw.
Getting a bit upset that the media has stopped all the pro-crow loving garbage that weve all put up with for 10 years. I was a crow fan for a good 5 years before port got the nod, and i hated the coverage back then. Its basically worse now. Angwin faints and training its front page and back page news...Montgonmery has a heart condition, its mentioned in 5 lines. The bias is amazing, and for you to say its all port port port just goes to show how blind some people really are. No offense to you personally, but im sick of crows people complaining they get a raw deal from the media, umpires whoever, its your own fault for building them up to be so good.

Maybe if the crows had done a pre season camp, or have had some major training sessions there would be more in the paper at the moment. Port are coming up to a trial game sometime soon, i dont see the crows playing trial games at the moment?

About your gary ayres point...yes he is really taht bad. His positional moves are laughable to say the least...Hart at full forward?? give us a break. Maybe the players dont like playing under Ayres and thats why they seemed disinterested last year
just somet hings to think about

Macca, I don't know if I was necessarily COMPLAINING that there's no coverage for the Crows, I was more like explaining why we haven't got anything to post on this board. If there's nothing in the news, we can't discuss it. But I guess we could just ramble on about stuff anway.

The Crows have done a camp, and it was mentioned in the Sunday Mail, with a funny picture of Jarman in a tree (no, he does NOT look like a monkey), and there was a picture of the guys riding bikes with Charlie Walsh, so the coverage is improving.

As for past saturation of Crow doings, well, if the public wants it, I guess the press will print it. I repeat my point - a lot more South Aussies follow the Crows. I reckon for the minority who are Port supporters you get a pretty good deal :0)

there is usually nothing really to discuss preseason with any clubs, not usually any real news. I dont think port get a very fair go in the media...we will always be trying to match the crows. I said on the newsgroup this a while back...that if Port were to win a premiership in say 2003, and were to come say 5th or something in 2004, then the headlines would be Port fail to emulate crows achievements.
We will always be unfailry compared to the crows, in crowd figures, results, draft picks, wins, and profits

Did anybody see the picture on page 112 of the Advertiser today of a couple of Crows players running without any tops on. KG might get all excited again, when their was a similar picture in the Advertiser last year he came out with the magical statement of Gee's the Crows look great Studley, Take my words they will win the premiership this year. What great statement will he make this time.

Crow54

Carb70. Gee I don't take much notice of what KG says - after all he goes for the Power as well, he he.

Crow54, KG is as much of a Port supporter as you are.

I wonder how Studley's going with that, now that both sons (and his missus) are Port Adelaide people...

Phew, that means I can start taking notice of what he says again.

No Crow54 I didn't say you should start to take notice of him though, but it if want to be misled into the wrong direction, then by all means live on his every word.

Well, thanks for that advice. I will certainly not believe everything he says, especially after tonight.... he reckons the Power will finish higher on the ladder than the Crows. Obviously the poor man has absolutely no credibility at all.

Crow54, That cancer scare KG had a couple of weeks ago must of really affected him. He's starting to make sense now.

Maybe the heat's affecting him... I know it's affecting me.
