My Avatar>YoursWhy I oughta card you! Apart from the Cell saga, Gohun never lived up to his potential. By the end of DBZ he's an utter whimp. It was left time and time again to Goku to save the day. For the record, though, I was always a Vegeta-fan back in the day.

To be fair, gohan never killed anyone, he only assisted
Cell = cell tries to explode himself, he killed himself
Raditz = hit by gohan, killed by picolo]
and Goku killed Freeza and Buu

Cell came back from when he blew himself up. Gohan then killed him in that massive Kamehameha duel.
Wouldn't have killed Cell without Vegeta though

Btw, they're bringing out a digitally 'remastered' HD version of DBZ out called DB Kai. But it's only in Japanese.

Bout 400 for the first 8 seasons, the last one isn't out yet. Had an epic 50 hour straight marathon with about 6 mates and we only got to the end of freeza saga. For the amount of Episodes you get it's probs worth it.

I've just watched the Future-Trunks episodes, and have a question for any DBZ nerds (nerdier than I am :o).
Trunks came back to the present, killed Frieza and King Cold, told the Z fighters about the Androids etc and left. He said that he had to kill Frieza because he knew Goku wasn't going to make it back in time. However, he said that in his time-line the following happened:
Goku died of a heart virus (some time between returning and the fight against the Androids); everybody else except for Gohan died in the battle against the Androids.
My question is: in that time-line (which is also what would've happened had Trunks not come back,) what would've happened with Frieza and King Cold? Goku was two hours away when they came, and the others didn't stand a chance.
Is this a massive plot hole, or am I overlooking something?

The remastered versions all have the same crappy start and end, massively dissapointed when i got the dvds. Also you can change in the settings the music back to us audio which is what we had in australia if you don't like the japenese stuff.
Whomb, vegeta probably would of been able to hold them off since he was a super saiyan aswell. Or maybe the androids killed king cold and frieza in trunks timeline.

The show's so much better in Japanese it's not funny.Japanese music in the show is pretty good but if your talking japanese voices i don't know how you can stand it. Having to read subs frustrates me.

It's pretty much Z but shorten down from 270 eps to 100ish taking out all he filler stuff and making the animation better.

After seeing Whomb's avatar I'm tempted to buy the cell or frieza saga. I know it's sad but I find it really hard to contain my love for this show. The Majin Buu saga was shit and I don't know why I bought it. Nothing good happened except for Goku turning super saiyan 3.

Cell is great but I really liked the Frieza saga.

But seriously, Cell saga > Frieza saga. I watched the latter last year and while parts of it were great (most obvious being Goku's transition to SSJ), others were really dull and dragged out.
Perhaps I need to watch the Cell saga again, but I don't remember being bored during any of it. Even the Androids saga was kick arse.

My opinion is probably biased as I watched the Frieza saga a week ago and havent seen Cell in a few years. As I was a little kid when it was on morning TV ( Cheese TV) I used to get a red texta and draw the Android circle on the palm of my hand. i was a troubled child :D

I like the Cell one the best, Freezer went too long and Buu was not that flash.
I watched Dragon Ball as well last year and was surprised that I enjoyed that knowing that none of them could go supersayin:p

What I believe they should have done is make Vegeta save the planet. He really deserved it after joining the good guys.
Could say he did during Cell, Gohan wouldn't have killed him if Vegeta didn't attack him

Yeah but he wasn't regarded as the hero. He tried to sacrifice himself in the Buu saga but I think Buu regenerated.

You could say Vegeta held down the fort when Goku got sick and the androids first came but other then that he never really defeated anyone important.
