I realise that 99% of you have no idea who Napalm Death are, but I've just finished watching their DVD "Punishment in Capitals" (with live and other stuff), and am gobsmacked.

The main gig was a charity show against Animal Cruelty - ethics AND tunes!

What a fcking awesome band!

Been listening since 89, and they just keep getting better.

The song 'Suffer The Children" (a personal fave for many years), is done twice as fast, and note perfect.
Scary.

Anyway, if anyone here has any interest in this sort of stuff, check out this DVD.

Gushing over.
Sorry!

My faith in humanity is restored.

I just wish I looked like Shane Embury - lol!
Did you know, that he was offered a part in a Sylvia Saint 'movie'?
As in, an 'action' part?

He later said he "didn't have the bottle to go through with it, and that she would have torn him to pieces"
LOL!

What an absolutely hideous man. I'm digging up my copy of "Fear, Emptiness, Despair"... it's been a while.

hehe - and age has NOT been kind to him.

He's actually a pretty funny git too when you watch the doco.

Great bassplayer too. I can remember just standing in front of him at the gig here a few years ago, and just ogling his playing.

I certainly have heard of them, but not really their music. My best friend's boyfriend went to england and saw them play live. He said it was pretty awesome, but not really up to his expectations.
