Who are some of best cricket writers out there? The worst? As I mentioned in another thread, Peter Roebuck is certainly no favourite of mine. It's like trying to read James Joyce, if such a comparison is possible.

Past: Fingleton, Robertson-Glasgow, Cardus, Peebles....

Richie Robertson (I think that was his name may be required to edit it later).
I've read some of his work and hius turns of phrase are just outstanding.
Blowers is always good for a read too.
