"It tickled"

Kimi from Lost is unrecognisable and miles better than the ****ing Juggernaut.

Looks better and darker than the shitty X Men sequels.

Thank God.

Gambit throwing the cards to blow people up and Wolverine flipping that Hummer and landing on the Chopper looks incredible. :o

Sabretooth v Wolverine is going to kick arse.

"I'm gonna cut your goddamn head off!"

"Lets see how that works!"

Thanks for putting up another link.

The studios treat the paying public with respect when they remove clips that can only give them more word of mouth about a film.

I think they're cheering because the clip is from a Comic Convention and they're all nerds.

Excited for Gambit and Deadpool, but I hope they aren't just there for the fans. They need to have real meaning in the storyline. Liev Schreiber is impressing me though, and I was sceptical at first when he was cast as Sabretooth. So many cameos too, by the looks of it, I hope it's not another X-Men 3.

It seems that Fox has been brought to their knees on (funnily enough) April Fools with the widespread net leak of their bad boy for this year.

20th Century Fox is about to have an interesting practical test on one of their biggest summer films. "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (http://www.hitfix.com/events/2008-12-14-x-men-origins-wolverine) leaked online today in what appears to be a near-finished DVD quality rip, marred only by a few unfinished FX shots. http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/2008-12-6-motion-captured/posts/2009-3-31-wolverine-workprint-leaks-online

Kind of reminds me of the problems that Eric Bana's Hulk went though...

It's an early version (e.g. the ending is ruined because of the missing f/x), they're also adding in 15 more minutes of action scenes to the final version - but it's still pants. There's a handful of decent action bits, but meh, I wouldn't even bother seeing it in the cinemas.

It's all about Transformers 2 and T4! :thumbsu:

I have watched it and even though it isn't complete this is a kick ass movie. It is going to be amazing when it is done. Great performances by the cast and it has a good pace.

Seeing the yet to be finished special effects was quite interesting actually and gives an interesting insight into how movies are made.

Having seen this just makes me anticipate the final product even more

This movie has received a shitload of criticism but i thought it was great. As mentioned already it has some really kick ass fight scenes and i look forward to checking out the final cut at the cinemas.

Due to my general abhorrence of CGI this raw version might be refreshing. I'll just imagine Hugh shot it in his backyard with a few mates.

I watched it. This may spoil some of the movie for people so it might be a good idea to not read further.

Highlight --> I wont crtitcize it, but could have been a lot better. I personally would have liked to have seen more development of the weapon x mutants, particulary Deadpool. I don't think that enough is explained in the 6 or whatever years after Wolverine walks away from the team.

Why do they just let Wolverine walk away in Lagos?
Why the sudden turn from Sabretooth? We all know they end up as mortal enemies.
Why doesn't Silverfox just use her power of persuasion in the movie to get Stryker to release her sister?

My gripe is that the origin movies (magneto is next up) should have come out before the x-men movies. That way they could've explained how the x-men and brotherhood were formed and all that before their war begins.

I never read the comics, but I used to be a fan of the cartoons which I have to say are better then the movie series.

Yeah, that was never gonna happen.

When they shot X-Men, they would have had no idea that they would have ended up with a 3 movie series, and then go onto "prequels" as such.

At the time X-Men was made, comic book based movies were still a no go thanks to the mid-90s Batman films. X-Men was one of the films that kickstarted the genre again amongst the studios.

Shithouse; don't bother. Spend the money instead on a hand shandy down Hindley.

1. Thought Liev Schreiber was good as Sabretooth.

2. I know it's nit- picking but as a purist, although everything else about Jackman in terms of his appearance is ideally suited for Wolverine, he is TOO TALL!! Watching this film, taking into account Sabretooth is one of my favourite comic characters, I just couldn't get over that Wolverine was taller than him, but nevertheless I thought Schreiber was a good casting choice.

3. Disappointed in Jackman's acting performance, thought he REALLY over did it at times.

4. Shattered they didn't do the characters of Deadpool and Gambit justice, as the opening scenes for those respective characters were great.

5. Hated the further mutated Wade Wilson character that Wolverine and Sabretooth fought at the end, just rediculous.

6. The way events unfolded at times was VERY random, and ultimately quite unneccessary; for example the character of Wolverine's lover should have been killed off when we thought she died originally.

7. Tried to force myself to really like it, but came away very "meh!"

Roger Ebert pretty much summed it up.

When a man can leap from an exploding truck, cling to an attacking helicopter, slice the rotor blades, ride it to the ground, leap free and walk away (in that ancient cliche where there's a fiery explosion behind him but he doesn't seem to notice it), here's what I think: Why should I care about this guy? He feels no pain and nothing can kill him, so therefore he's essentially a story device for action sequences.

I'm sure there's a lot more to the character, but that's about all I got from the movie. All the things that would have interested me were breezed through in the first 5 minutes of the movie. Terrible POS.

:( The X-men cartoons I used to watch when I was a kid rocked. How hard is it to make a decent X-men movie? They all sucked, and now even a standalone Wolverine movie is made and screwed up

However I think we have had enough comic book movies FFS spend the money on developing a really good original movie

Was alright, would probably watch it again, but as someone said, the trainwreck which is Deadpool at the end ruined it, Thought the end part of the credits contained that classic deadpool black humour, but giving him everyones powers was cringeworthy.

6.5/10. Had much more potential, i wouldnt of minded they dragged the movie out another hour to give some other blokes character development rather then just focus on wolverine, but then again it was a wolverine movie

The Age's Jim Schembri rates Brett Ratner's X Men flick The Last Stand as the best Wolverine film. :o

Someone like Guillermo Del Toro would make more of these films.

Blade II was great and an improvement on the first film.

I really liked the movie. Quite a few mistakes throughout, but really, I just went in hoping to see an enjoyable movie and I got it. I thought Deadpool and Gambit both started off well, but the character at the end certainly wasn't Deadpool, and Gambit completely lost the accent by the end. Sabretooth was done fairly well, as were the other supporting characters, but they were mostly unnecessary.
