Ok, it's on for the last time tonight (lets hope not)
Lets be honest, how much chance does England actually have of winning?

Thats coz Melbournians are scared of the heat and would rather stay at home. Either that or they thought it wasn't worth watching a cricket match for a few hours. :D

Bill Lawry won't get to use the phrase "it's a full house"
He'll be bitterly disappointed.

Not good news for Bevan, looks to have done a leg injury of some sort while running....not good, stretchered off.

I cannot believe the incredible non-quality of the side out there today!! Symonds at #6? That's either incredibly bold, or incredibly deluded. He has the worst batting average (4.00 from 3 innings) out of everyone who's had a bat this series! Not much confidence in the bowling either. 1 wicket @ 82 from 16 overs in 5 matches.
It pains me to say this, but bring back Ian Harvey...
Mind you, I've only watched bits of this match today, so I can't really comment on everyone's performances. Is it good bowling, terrible batting, a nasty pitch - what?

Not bad Hoggy - finish the innings off well son!
I was at the game at the SCG a while back which featured the record partnership by Sri Lanka and Hogg had a dog of a day. Full credit to him though, he has come back well.

Great knock by the hyperactive one. Exactly what we've been waiting Andy Symonds or Ian Harvey to do for a few years.
Was it a flash in the pan or is this our new all rounder? He deserves an extended go based on his efforts so far.

spose, either way, i can't see him bowling any overs. biggest liability in the side since......... i dont even know
but seriously, have they picked him in the starting XI as an all-rounder?? and if so, how can they justify this if he is not going to bowl?

Hogg sticks his tongue out more than Gene Simmons and Paul Williams combined.

For a while there I thought I might have been going to the cricket come Monday.....

"Even losing in a funny way will just get us together and show us that we have to work a little bit harder leading up to the World Cup."
