View Full Version : Seating at The Dome / Etihad
Hey guys just wanting to know what type of ticket to purchase so i can sit behind the goals near the cheer squad. I dont expect to sit in the front row but something nearby where i dont have to listen to opposition supporters all day!
When i got general admission we were placed in level 3 which was ok, but i felt too far away from the action.
Cheers Go Dons!

I think you have to get tickets way before the game. Or you can join the cheersquad for 25 bucks and sit with em whenever you go.

Anyone know what the deal is with MCC members and entry to Etihad? Apparently we buy a ticket and get entry to Medallion club through the MCC somehow???

I brought tix yesterday (over the net) and got L1, aisle 6, row B! (Left hand side pocket at Coventry end).
That's the closest I have ever sat to the fence, so no way I was going to pass up on the tix!
But, almost forgot my ticketmaster password and had a few seconds left to sign in with my details, so just plonked in a password I have used before, and crazily enough it was the right one!
So, long story short, very happy to get row B, on first level!

I got my tickets online on Monday night and best available was L3 Row W on the wing.
Not bad but I'd much prefer L1.:(

But are you going with a mate or on your own? I'm going with a mate and we got, L3 Aisle 4 (That's flank isn't it?) and row V. Bit high up, but oh well, I like the view on L3 of Docklands. I got the tickets on Tuesday night.

Its extremely hard to get seats behind the goals... I sit next to the goals with my reserved seating (Membership) and there are plenty of spare seats that aren't used..
Just sneak in, walk in and ignore the guy at the gate and you'll be right.. Has always worked on away games... Just wear ya bomber gear and giv da ticket man a wink, and ya should be right.. Its stupid how a match is sold out even though a dozen seats are open in every aisle..

Well my Mum and myself...it's a Mother's Day present :D
Agree with you that L3 at Telstra/Etihad is pretty good too

I have no idea! :o
I went on the ticketmaster site yesterday afternoon, and saw what was available on L1.
First time was in one of the pockets but row G or J, but I didn't take them.
Tried L3 and that gave me one of the pockets in row Q, didn't choose those ones.
Tried L1 again and this time it gave me one of the pockets but row N. Said no.
Tried one last time on L1 and it gave me row B! Said yes to those ones! I was freaking out though, thought there was some mistake, but nope!

So are the seats behind the goals at etihad, essendon members with reserved seats. I dont think ppl would be too happy if i lobbed in on their seats.
Thanks for the help
If i were to buy a gen admission next week for the saints game, would i be right to just sit behind the goals near the cheer squad. Eg- is there like a couple of bays set aside for the cheer squad or is it all reserved tickets?

Seems there is no tickets available on ticketek, any chance of rocking up and getting a lvl 3 gen admission at the ground?
