Can someone please give a match report at the end of each qtr if possible. Also for those that have crap seats or want to watch the game from row A. You can use our seats. Bay 13 row A seats 19-20. first come first serve. These seats can be used for all games this year as my partner & i won't be attending this year. But next year we will.

Should be a good game.
Shutting down Butcher is the key for the Coast. Not sure we have a strong and quick enough defender for him. Crawford will probably get first go.
Smith and Vardy will be an interesting battle as well. Arguably the two best ruckman in the Tac cup.
My buddy Marc Lock back in the team is a good in after being a late withdrawal last week with a calf strain.

My first look at Jack Stanley , thought he played a good game , Smith in the ruck has been very good the 2 times ive seen him and Lock was his usual reliable self kicking a few , as for Gippsland there full forward no.5 would of bagged 5 or 6 and 30 and 19 where pretty good.

Watched the last 3 quarters of the game today and boy, GC JUST fell over the line. Another 5 minutes and Gippsland would have had them I reckon.
From what I saw of the Gold Coast;
Joseph Daye (17) looks very impressive. Tall, quick midfielder with a strong build and penetrating left foot.
Charlie Dixon (23) is a big forward who looks like a one touch player. Very classy when he got it, but probably should have got it some more. Can see him destroying opposition when he has a good day.
Jesse Haberfield (3) small in and under type. Great around the stoppages and clearances. Looked like he got a lot of hard ball gets. Plenty of run.
Matthew Fowler (15) not sure what position he was in, but made good position all day and kicked one or two.
Marc Lock (1) apparently kicked 3 or 4 in the opening term. Imposing figure and looks to be a future key position forward.
All in all they were good today, without being impressive, though I didn't see the first quarter which is when they did the bulk of their scoring.

Saw Jesse running out through the turnstyles straight after the game, is he on a curfew?:confused:

Just on Zac Smith - he is a potential AA ruckman. Absolutely dominated Vardy who is meant to be the best ruckman in the next draft.
Really struggled to shut Butcher down but then again he is meant to be a top 3 pick.
Man, Daye can kick the ball a long way. Didnt get to see it much in the first match because of the rain, but he has a raking left boot.

Zac has a lot of upside having only played the game for a few years.

Good question , did'nt even know he was injured , think the only signing that has'nt had gametime so far.
