Virtually everyone who played well in 2000 has signed up. Only Draga to go
With a little luck with injuries (touch wood), I think we're in pretty good shape!!

Tigertank, have your heard any rumours on who Richmond is chasing in the draft this year?

I'm glad to hear that news.
If we do get Dragga, we will be a force. I know that one man doesn't win games for a team but Dragga is a bit like a mascot!

Your guess is as good as mine.
What I'd like to see is the first three pics spent on the best from the draft camp, and then look at who's left.
I'm not sure why the club was so emphatic about not drafting Jason Cloke with the round 2 pick. He is the right size to be handy, if he is fast enough.
What would you and Richmond#1fan like to see?

I'd really like to see a full-back drafted that is almost a ready made player or ready to play in a year or so. Also a clever crumber up forward although I have high hopes for Andrew Mills and hopefully Aaron Fiora may take another step. Also hoping that P. Steinfort gets a run this year.

Pinched from this morning's Australian...
"Richmond midfielder Mark Dragicevic has committed to re-signing for two years, while Craig Biddiscombe has committed to another three seasons after threatening to go into the draft."

Sorry to dissapoint you oh_my_hat (not) but i have the great pleasure to announce that Jason Cloke has already agreed to play with Collingwood (to be made official next week !)
and as i've stated before Biddiscombe is not much of a player and i know because he was on geelong's list for 3 years and did nothing there but sulk. If the tigers really paid good money for Biddiscombe, well i gag in amazement

I'm not too sure what we're looking for in the draft but probably a steady full-back.
Our half back line is impressive with Cameron as the leader but our full backs need more work.
Maybe a QUICK forward crumber as another selection. I think we need more pace in our side.

Unfortunately RichmondFan1 it is very hard too pick up a steady full back out of the draft. If a side has a good full back they would never let them go. Any full back found in the draft would most likely not be good enough.
The only real option would be to develop your own, and this takes time. Andy Kellaway would be the most likely immediate candidate, although he would probably need another 10Kgs of muscle if he was going to mix it with some of the big forwards. Actually, AK with +10kg would be a similar player to what Danny Frawley was. Hmmmm!
A longer term full back would be Royce Vardy. He appears to have the discipline and temperant required but would also need to get a lot bigger.
