Their seminial (sic) and sublime album, "At First Sight" is being re-released on CD next month. It will have a bonus disc of B-sides too. However, the truly impressive news is that they're reforming to do two gigs at the Corner Hotel on April 4 and April 5
Ah yes, "At First Sight"....it was the soundtrack to many, many summers.

Ah yes, the soundtrack of a 14 yr old boy wearing a paisley shirt's and black pointy boots struggling to get into bars to see bands.
(Hey, it was the 80's - don't blame me!)

They are my girlfriend's favourite band and I quite like them, so I'll be there. By the way if you're a Stems fan, check out the Great Stems Hoax tribute cd. My band the Naked Eye attempt to turn the Stems song No Heart into a Scientists-Stooges noise fest.

The "At First Sight" is available on CD at the moment(no bonus CD or extra tracks) for $10(new)at Raoul Records here in St Kilda.
I really liked "The Someloves" and "DM3" as well. One of this country's great POP song writers Dom Mariani.
