I'd never seen the band b4, but saw a song from them live on Channel V from the BDO and they were so amateur.

Very boring to watch, they didn't lock in together and were very out of time. The Singer was terrible.

The bass player held them together was the only one who looked interesting on stage.

anyone else found this?

Boring as bat sh*t live, but their album is actually quite reasonable. Nice melodies and very eclectic.

But yeah, loive they have very little presence or charisma.

But geez, i'd give that chick singer a seeing too! That bird is pure sex!!

recent line up changes have thrown their live show a little off... i think that was like their 4th show with their new bass player. When you also consider they're first on the mainstage, whilst people are just turning up, i dont think the big day out would be the best place to watch a waikiki gig

They were quite good as the support act for Augie March, when I saw them a few months back.

Yeah Juanita is truly a sensational women. The sexiest woman on earth as well as a great vocalist, bassist and hey she also plays the tambarine as well as anyone I have seen.

Winmar there site is

gotta agree with general consensus, waikiki are definitely not the best type of band to see live. the recorded music sounds alot better from my limited experience of both.

that would explain a fair bit i spose. still - they didn't seem like a very exciting live band at the BDO at all, but i guess everyone has off days etc.
