Can anyone give my memory a jog along with some names of the better tracks off Boz Scaggs' album "Silk Degrees"? I seem to remember The Lido Shuffle and Lowdown as pretty good songs. Any others?

My parents have that album on vinyl somewhere, buried in between all the Earth Wind and Fire records.

I think "Georgia" was on that one as well, dunno. Lowdown and Lido are probably the two most played tunes from that disc (have to say they are pretty damn catchy). Classic mid-70s disco/funk/jazz/fusion at it's finest.

Jeff Porcaro played drums on that album; he was only about 21-22 years old at the time. A lot of the other guys from Toto actually played on that album too; I think the band formed as a result of the Silk Degrees session.

I think "We're All Alone" might have been on that album. Classic West Coast sound from a much derided genre.

Thanks for the feedback guys - very helpful. Macca, my folks used to have it on record and I seemed to remember some pretty cool songs on it and they have aged quite well I think.
