Does your team rotate it's midfield players AFL style ?
What do you think about rotations in NFL footy ?
Is a player better off resting in the forward pocket or on the bench in local footy?
My veiw is if he can kick 2-4 goals a game while resting in the forward pocket why put them on the bloody bench.
The pace of local footy is nowhere near the AFL, you can't tell me you can't get a rest in a pocket.
Is it just a case of some coaches watching to much TV or do they have a point?

Hence my name, I'd usually be "resting" up forward anyway.
But our coach, the incredible mastermind usually rotates 6+ players through the midfield every quarter, and it seems to be working.
I think players are wasted on the bench.

the vibe is thats its going ok, then again the bench time is giving blokes a breather after running around hard for 5-10 minutes.
we seem to be winning a few games so if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Rotate off the bench I reckon. Gives the boys a blow. Also allows to discuss and see game from another perspective.
