I'm going to see them at the Prince of Wales in St Kilda tomorrow night. Good to hear they are in form.

BTW did you see Radio Birdman or the Dictators last year? Both were absolutely awesome.

If you want to catch up with a fellow Big Footy poster (and OFL star :D ), look for the unshaven geek with shoulder length hair and glasses, wearing a Blue Oyster Cult- Don't Fear the Reaper T-Shirt.

Or the grumpy old bugger with either a Buzz****s 94 tour T Shirt or Birdman T shirt.

How good were they????????????

I saw 'em in '90 and they were much better this time around. Steve Diggle was of his tree, at one stage Shelley stopped playing and just stood and looked at him.

Yeah pretty good. Talked a lot didn't they?:D
I still rate 92 as the best I saw them and I don't think I am looking back through rose coloured glasses. This time they sounded rawer and louder than the previous two times I saw them (92 + 94) and that's not a bad thing.
I was telling my mate I went with that I bought the clear vinyl 12" EP when It came out and that was 26 years ago. He then quipped that he didn't think their 'new' drummer was that old!

Raticus

I take it you missed The Buzzc ocks the last two times they played in Adelaide.1992 at the Old Lion and 1994 at Heaven(!!!???)
The bouncer at the door wasn't going to let me into Heaven the night the Buzzc ocks played because I was wearing black demin!
I gently explained(seriously) that if Heaven was going to start putting on alternative bands they had better let people wearing black demin in otherwise they'd be having some pretty quiet nights!
You silly idiot missing Birdman. From all the reports the gig at "The Guv" was pretty good. If they do another tour don't miss them! And that's an order:D !

Gawd no - I aint no sheep - always been a Luton Fan - Hardly ever take my Hatters shirt off ever since I got it for xmas.

I have never been one for following what other ppl are into..I was into Billy bragg a long time b4 he became popular - same as other bands. I get sick of commercialism of music- all these new punk bands?? hahahahahah tho goldfinger really took my fancy when i saw them in 96 and i stil luv thier stuff.

Ppl like eninem make me sick (i better start ducking eh!) can someone pls tell him that he is white...i see him and i just think of vanilla ice. (and that wasnt a racist comment) hell i think i am rambling on here.

there is no originality anymore. i cant stand all the production line pop -

I feel your pain.

Please cut me some slack for being a Gunners fan. Apart from my kids my #1 passion is the Western Bulldogs so I'm due a team that has some chance of success.
Anyway I picked 'em out when I was a kid because they had a rude word in their name. Thats still the official reason any success is cream on the cake.
