View Full Version : Warne eyes Indian spin coach role
Whats this all about? I thought the ACB had already hired Warne as their spin bowling coach? But it seems like hes more interested in working in India? Here's the article http://content.cricinfo.com/india/content/current/story/405358.html

He's just after the easy way out. Lazy prick.
He knows Indian spinners are a class above Aussies and he won't have to teach them much whilst in Aussie he'll have to teach them how to shit.
We don't have any spinners with international level potential to teach.
Having Warne as our bowling coach is like hiring Einstein as a high school maths teacher.

That's a sweet attitude to take.

Way to ditch us Warney. Isn't he already spin bowling coach here?
Sure we may not have many spinners now, but what about the young spinners coming through junior cricket. They won't go far if there is no one to help them. And Jenner isn't going to be around forever.

Well I'd imagine Warne would want to work with young leggies. India have Chawla and Mishra, and I'm sure a fair few others also.
We have offies at the moment. Saqlain from Pakistan would probably be our best bet as a coach. Especially when it comes to teaching our batsman how to play the doosra also.
Onya Warnie jumping on the winners bandwagon, hopefully he'll keep things interesting over there (at least they'll learn how to party more..... j/k) :D

Whatever they're paying him, double it just to prevent him from doing it.
Warney is ours, he's a National Treasure.

I was thinking the same thing  .
I actually think Saqlain would be a good spinning coach for us considering all our current offies.

given the quality of our current spinners, IMO david boon would be a good intro to spinning coach...
Warne should coach the Indian spinners, they have a lot of talented young spinners coming through.
