The figures of Andrew Symonds in the Aussies WC warm-up game last night against Northerns.
You cannot tell me he is a better option than Ian Harvey.
Those figures are a disgrace. Even more so when you see he game on at the first bowler change.
But reading an article with John Buchanan, Symonds is a risk taker and we need those in our side. Obviously Buchanan is one too, which would explain why he is risking losing the World Cup by playing this dud.

If Symonds got 0/36 of 3 overs in a warm-up game, I shudder to think how he will bowl in the WC

This makes a pleasant change from all the usual 'but he only gets a game because he's from NSW' conspiracy theories!! :D

A 6'fer against the might of Victoria should surely see him jump ahead of McGill and Hogg for a spinners gig. ;) :D
If he was selected ahead of MacGill,I wouldn't mind.MacGill is a fruit loop.
Shane Warne got carted too...

As did Hogg, but mentioning that would move away from the Symonds bagging that this thread was set up for.
Atleast Symonds contributed with the bat.
