Does anyone think he will get suspended?
It was on the other side of the ground to me, and I haven't seen a replay (stupid Optus Oval), but my first reaction was that it was fair.
Metropolis was in general play and should have expected contact!

Technically he should get done for it.Metropilis was a long way from the ball and Cambell ran past the ball and hit a near stationary metropilis.
But he is a high profile victorian player so he wont get done.

But the rules say that you can bump within 5 metres of the ball. It should be end of story. The only way it could be a charge inside 5 metres is if Campbell lined up the player from a very long way away. He clearly didn't do that.

Thank you Bob. An unbiased and objective comment.
Campbell will probably get of and you will hear the whine from over the Nullabor, but it will have nothing to do with Victorian favouritism but an interpretation of law.

He's cleared.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!
Now he can win the Brownlow http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif.
RF1,
I'm not sure that being suspended in the Ansett Cup disqualifies you from the Bronlow!
