Anyone watching this series?

It's another police/detective/forensics type show and in that regard it offers nothing new to the genre. What it does have however that separates it from others is the awesome Nathan Fillion of 'Firefly' fame. From the two episodes Ive watched so far, the show does seem to be carried by Fillion a bit so I'm not sure if it's got any legs in the long run, but it's entertaining all the same. Stana Katic is smokin' too.

they're trying to get the Bones fans to watch it, however Bones fans are jumping off because unfortunately it's jumped the shark :(. i.e. I doubt anyone will watch Castle

eh, i like it. Not the best but it has it moments. Nathan Fillion is great though. Apparently it has been picked up for a second season in the US.

Looks like I was wrong.... I've been watching for a while now and I'd say its way better than Bones is currently (Bones is pretty ridiculous now though...). I love Nathan Fillion as well, the bloke is ridiculously funny.

One of my favorite tv shows at the moment:cool:

The character of Castle is brilliant but there is also a great supporting cast.

I'd also disagree about Bones it's still as good as ever..however if Bones/Booth get together it just may JTS.

Nathan Fillion definitely makes an otherwise pedestrian show watchable. The detective he partners is pretty cute, I guess that doesn't hurt.

I hate Bones. The lead character is as annoying as hell, and aside from Booth I dislike most of the supporting cast.
