This weeks game is massive in regards to the development/improvement of our club over the last 12 months or so.

The thing that has impressed me the most this season is the fact that our boys are playing out games and not giving in, regardless of who we are playing or how far we get behind.

Last year you could see that the guys were improving but they could also fall aprt in games and get thumped by big margins.

I think it would be a further step forward if we could lose honourably this week. If we get thumped by 60-100 points i fear that it may have a negative effect on the playing group. Keep it within 4-5 goals and the players will feel they are not far off the mark and will be keen for a re-match.

If we somehow knocked them off it would be amazing but lets just hope that we continue on the improvement we have shown this season by being competative and not giving the oppsotion an easy victory.

A loss is a loss, obviously I would rather lose by 20 points then 100.

i agree.

let's be honest, geelong currently have one of the best '22' to have played the game, and we aren't in their league

but footy changes so quickly, and i would expect a big improvement on the 99 point thrashing we copped last year.

Totally agree.

A sign of integrity and self-belief that we try our guts out until the final siren, with nothing but positive outcomes for each individual. Everyone can go home knowing that they never gave up, and with a true idea of where the team is at and what needs to be done to progress. :thumbsu:

Well done Kinghter, and thanks Collingwood for helping us realise it. :D
