View Full Version : Your pre game superstitions....
We all know that players have quirky superstitions before a game, what about supporters superstititons.
I always wear the red n black guernsey, black and red socks, and try and wear a red shirt. Dont like to wear opposition colours although occasionally you have no choice.

I like to sit and stare at that Asian guy who always plays Classical Gas at EVERY freaking Essendon game...
I look at the TV guide. And then usually get angry.

Rofl,

Of course!
Might need to change mine i think. 3 games at the Dome this year = 3 losses for me :(
I try to ensure that I don't sing, hum or listen to the opposition song - very hard at times!

On the way out today he quickly switched from 'Classical Gas' to 'Waltzing Matilda', and he muffed the very last note of it, and the whole crowd streaming past went "Ooohhh...."

haha.. I was there, I remember that.. Certainly not the first time he's buggered up the ending of a song.
I hope he releases a CD or something some time soon though.. I think he's good enough to go that one step further.
Maybe even join the choir for hard knocks and be lead guitarist..
