I've never felt so happy about something that was such a given.

Jamar and the other bloke will be bitterly disappointed.

Wasn't too worried to be honest.

The tribunal tends to make the right call, even if the MRP system stuffs up.

Thank god.. I couldn't imagine Lucas, Hooker or Bock taking the ruck duties. Three thumbs up.

The MRP should get carryover points for this blunder. No accountability from those clowns.

Was fairly confident he would get off, have a feeling he is going to have a massive game against Melbourne.

I wonder how long it took.

5 seconds or 10 seconds

Combination of both imo.
Seriously, shouldn't have even had to dispute it in the first place, pathetic reporting.

Yeah, absolutely.

Barry Hall punched some guy in the face, and he gets what? (6 or 8 weeks?)
So essentially Barry Halls punch was only 3-4 times worse than Ryders bump.

But Michael Tovey, QC, said Ryder had kept his feet planted on the ground when shepherding Dangerfield and there was “nothing remarkable” about the force which was used.

Haha.
I think they're boldly implying that Patty Dangerfield is weak;)

They were discussing on AW that the AFL Advocate was arguing that as Ryder was a bigger bloke than Dangerfield he should have used less force!!!
I couldn't quite believe what I heard and neither could Healy and Russell on AW.

How ****ed up is the whole system!!??

This is the best news all year.
Which is sad really :(

"Laycock kicks 7 goals
Lloyd Neagle and Lucas kick a combined total of 15 goals
Essendon are 7-4 with no regrets"

Aww. :(

yes thank f**k common sense actually prevailed here. hint to the MRP, be accountable and use this case as a precedent that a fair, tucked in, foot planted, within 5m, LEGITIMATE and perfectly executed hip n shoulder is actually fair play and part of the game.

rant over /
