West Coasters view of Freo

I was just interested in knowing what West Coast fans thought of Freo. Did the Round 21 Derby change your view of us? Or perhaps us finishing above you? I know quite a number of West Coast fans but they just say stuff to spite me and I was wondering what others thought.

I like them.

I havent answered the second team topic on the main board, but Freo are mine.

The only difference that the round 21 derby made, was that I was a little disapointed in the way certain players were a bit violent. I dont think we have been anything worse than tough in the past, and thought it was a bit sour. But thats in the past now. I just hope both teams do their best next season, and beat the Victorian teams.

But a question for you- have the opinions of Dockers fans changed since round 21? Do you still have an inferiority complex? Or have you finally come to the realisation thats theres little difference between us?

personally if the eagles arent going to be a finals contender id rather they come last
we got mcdougal because of it, and hes no doubt going to be an amazing player
if we had not lost the roos would no doubt have him
and besides the eagles need some motivation

Well I'm not afraid to admit I can't stand the Dockers. Before r21 last year I used to like to see them having a win. Not now they remind of the bulldogs and I don't like them.I do feel the Dockers will have a good season next year. Can't see them winning a flag yet.

Eagle Fan, I reckon that the opinions of the Dockers fans has changed a bit since the Round 21 derby. It showed that we won't give in and against West Coast who have beaten us so many times it was pretty big. Plus the fact that it enabled us to finish above you guys on the ladder (something that actually hasn't been made a big thing of because we finished 12th and 13th) it sort of smashed the whole inferiroity complex. We still need to get some consistency though to build our reputation.

Freo, your main problem is your coach. Neesham was a joke and certainly Drum is better, but he's still not top class material. I don't think Judge is either but we've only had him a year so I hope I'm proved wrong.

I hate the Dockers more than anything else. On the Eagles Forum some of the people refers to them as the Poofters. Good stuff I think.

Too much of this Eagles liking Freo. It's crap. I have a die hard Dockers/Sth Freo fan as a friend and he cannot stand West Coast. He didn't care when McKenna quit, good riddance he said. Needless to say, we're good mates in summer and not so good in winter. For me to be an Eagles/East Freo fan is the epitome of evil in his eyes.

Right. I don't like the Dockers but I certainly prefer to see them win than the victorians, exception hawks. For some reason I like the hawks but my support is firmly with the Eagles. Love to beat freo, hate to lose.

dockers are my second team but come eagles V freo i love to see them get smashed.

west coast is my team through and through. i only support the dockers cause i pity them. ;)
