View Full Version : Who would be leading our B&F

Half way through the season who do you think would be leading our best & fairest.
I personally think Jason Winderlicht must be pretty close but Stanton, Ryder & Watson wouldn't be far away.

I'd say Watson
Ryder didn't start off the season strongly enough but he could still take it the B&F if he keeps playing well. Winderlich, Stanton and Lovett would be up there but not as high as Watson I'd think.

Probably go with Jobe for mine.

At this stage, my prediction would be:
1) Watson
2) Ryder
3) Pears
4) Stanton
5) Winderlich

The way the club does the voting..which has up to 10 players per match given votes, we could see some interesting results.

As it is:

1. Watson
2. Winderlich
3. Stanton
4. Lovett
5. Ryder
6. Hocking
7. Pears
8. Hooker
9. Lloyd
10. Dyson

It is sort of obvious that it is jobe.

Also, I think the differences need to be emphasised

Watson

Ryder
Winderlich
Lovett
Stanton

Not really. Winderlich has been in our best for pretty much every game of the year. Watson has been missing in one or two. The only reason I have Watson above Winders is because Winders missed last week, but before the Adelaide game I'd have had Winders leading it.

He still might be too.

Hmm, actually i forget about winderlich, he's had like no clangers in his past few, whilst getting 28+ disposals

Compare that to Stanton, who's leading the current AFL clanger count.

Ryder

Watson, Stanton or Winderlich for me. Ryder not far behind, but not first as he hasn't had that many great games, just mostly good games, whereas Watson, Stanton and Windy have had a lot of great games.

watson followed by winderlich (who i thought missed several games this ... but it was only one game)

lovett to excel in the second half to win it

Watson and Stanton are leading, Ryder, Lovett and Winderlich not far behind

Dare I say Dyson & Davey will be the smokies.

Donakebab

Davey has been average all year. Would have to have a super second half to even be considered a smokey.

exactly. not sure why you'd have davey or even dyson considered smokies.

davey especially

Watson would be a clear number one. I think Winders has had a couple of quiet games plus the game he missed so I think he would be around the 4th-5th place. Stanton would be up there, as with Lovett. Ryder would be top five.

1. Ryder - Don't underrestimate his achievements for the year!
2. Watson - Imposing himselves on games like we need him to.
3. Winderlich - I feel asthough it's pretty self exp.
4. Lovett - Has the ability to set the whole team on fire.

I don't think anyone else has a shot personally.

Agreed diablo; especially with his performance again tonight. Having an outstanding season.
