India are batting first in this vital match.

A win for India is important to lift their confidence after being thrashed by Australia the other day whereas Zimbabwe can all but assure themselves a place in the Super Six stage with a win in this game.

India's opening pair... Tendulkar and Sehwag.

Sachin already has 66 runs.

I have a feeling we might see a big hundred tonight.

Funny you should mention that. Olonga from Zimbabwe isn't playing in this game.

well no, not literally, but i heard on the radio driving home that andy flower is wearing black wristbands for the same symbolic reasons.

there is a guy with morals. this man is literally putting his life on the line to emphasise to the world the dark regime his country lives under mugabe. a true cricketing hero, and i really hope for his (and a few other guys) sake that zimbabwe go on to make the semi's.

apparantly both he and olonga were threatened/warned about their actions last match, so for flower to do something similar for me shows the true courage he has and the strength of his character. it makes our team barring matty hayden look very shallow by burying these issues in the sand. i'm not saying that we should boycott zimbabwe, but comments like "we dont care about politics, we just want to play cricket" emphasise what shallow morals a few of our players have when compared to a few of the zimbabweans.

Zimbabwe are 1 for 10 in the 4th over, needing to score 256 to win the game. Should be a good run chase, Zimbabwe not without a chance here.
