England 6/220 after 43 overs.

Not disgraceful, they'll almost certainly win. But not exactly impressive against a team like that.

Namibia's strengths are in their bowling stocks, can't bat much though.

well since zimbabwe got 340 against them, england should be ****ed off cause it doesnt help their net run rate, which will be useful to help put out india/pakistan/zimbabwe who are all vying for the 2nd and 3rd placings in their pool.

Why isn't Nasser Insane playing for England ? Surely he wouldn't be resting, considering he didn't bat in their only other WC game.

Namibia travelling beautifully at 85/2 after 20. Hope they keep going!

England could be in a spot of bother here. Namibia are playing well at 117 for the loss of 2 wickets after 26. That puts them ahead on D/L alledgedly and apparently the storm clouds are gathering.

This is brilliant still going very well at 171/3. This is the most entertained ive been so far this tournament. I love see the poms getting it dished up to them!

That silly run out will probably spell the end for namibia, but it has been a bloody good effort by them!

Namibia have more or less lost for sure now, but it was a good effort from them.

woohoo! namibia have reached 200, a fantastic effort. and hopefully to add insult to injury, Burger will get MOTM for his great 85 off 86 with 10 fours and a six.

England now have India, Pakistan and Australia to play. The honeymoon to Holland and Namibia is over my friends.

umpire just calls a 5 ball over, removing any chance namibia may have had of winning. sure the RRR is over 18, and there's only 1 wicket left, but the umpire has just ruined what was a fairly even contest.

a damn fantastic effort from Namibia:

to bat through their entire 50 overs
for their #11 to hit a six off Jimmy Anderson on the last ball
to score 9/217 and only lose by 55 runs
to have the best batsman, AJ Burger with 85 runs
to have the best bowler, van Vuuren with 5 for 43
to have the best partnership, 97 for the 3rd wicket
and to probably take home a MOTM award

shame hussein wasn't playing to say what a good effort it was from his boys to win so convincingly.

AJ Burger seemed quite impressive last night. Anyone notice half the names sound like the Netherlands team - had to double check a few times which side was playing England!
