Just saw that the Comedy Channel will be televising Late Night with David Letterman nightly from July 1st.
Does this mean Letterman will no longer be on FTA?
And what time will the Comedy Channel put it to air? Maybe its going to replace Jimmy Fallon.

Something about him gives me the shits. The whole show just seems dated.

It'll still be on Ten.Arena already show Letterman,so it's going from Arena to Comedy.Arena show the episode Ten air about 2 days later.So last nights ep on Ten airs at 1am thursday on Arena.My guess is they'll just add it on after Fallon and it'll still be 2 day old episodes because Ten probably have first rights.
Most Foxtel shows seem to do the run around all of their channels (eg: Jerry Springer was a Fox8 staple... now it's Arena). They started playing the occasional Letterman episode on the Comedy Channel a few years ago (Saturday + Sunday nights), then it moved to the Bio channel of all places.

Most Foxtel shows seem to do the run around all of their channels (eg: Jerry Springer was a Fox8 staple... now it's Arena). They started playing the occasional Letterman episode on the Comedy Channel a few years ago (Saturday + Sunday nights), then it moved to the Bio channel of all places.
I'm pretty sure it was on W for a while as well. That's way more illogical than Bio IMO.
Letterman is a good show in theory (I usually like talk shows in general), and though he usually has decent interview and musical guests (although there seems to be endless dribble before the actual interviews start), there's just something about the show that I don't like.
Also, a bit of handy information - For those that want to know who is going to be on all US talk shows for two weeks in advance, The Late Night TV Page (http://www.interbridge.com/lineups.html) is the way to go :thumbsu: Good site to see if there's going to be anyone you're interested in on the shows, which is usually what persuades me to watch or not.

Back then the episodes use to be about 2-3 weeks behind Ten.
They do the channel switching of shows and then do a big hoo-haa about a certain show joining a channel.They recently did it with Malcom In The Middle which went from 111 back to Comedy.

and for the nuffies who've never seen that site,Monday USA = Tuesday night in Aus,Tuesday USA = Wednesday Aus....etc So a Friday ep in the USA gets shown on Monday nights here.

Ah ok, thanks, that makes sense. I remember when Letterman was the Comedy Channel on weekends, but had no idea it was on Arena now.
Letterman will air at midnight,straight after Fallon.

Awesome! I hope it's still going to be aired on Network Ten. I'd be devastated if it wasn't. One of the pleasures of watching TV at midnight. :thumbsu:
