Anyone seen this yet?

Personally I thought it was utter rubbish. A few funny moments in between a crap plot and some terrible acting.

Thoughts?

Looks like shit with one of the worse trailers I've seen for a big film recently. I can't understand why someone would see it after watching that trailer

Yeah the trailer looked like complete crap.

Will Ferrell has really lost "it" although you could argue he never really had "it" in the first place.

Will Ferrell = Chevy Chase

Surprisingly David & Margaret raved about it:eek:

I'm a massive fan of the tv show so have no desire to see it turned into one long joke.

Average movie some funny parts in it, but it was still average.

Will Ferrell must be the most overrated actor of all time. Anytime he's in a movie it's raved about like it's the funniest thing you'll ever see, and then it's just shit.

I've seen 2-3 of his movies and a lot of his interviews, so wont be touching this one.

Realy is cringe worthy these days old Will. Seems to be living off past glories like Anchorman

I've seen the trailer and read a lot of the reviews.

I won't be going to see it. It really looks like complete rubbish.:thumbsd:

by no means a great movie, but I did enjoy it. Probably not worth seeing in the cinema but it will be a decent DVD night movie. Has some funny moments.

StepBrothers was awesome!

I get this impression this is a kids movie though?

I am def gonna stay clear of this one
Will Ferrell's best are Stranger than Fiction, Stepbrothers and Elf imo
I dont understand why there is so much love for Blades of Glory? I thought it was pretty bad with only a few remote lol moments

this is not necessarily a kids move. Has some dirty jokes in it

Took a kid, wanted to see the Dinosaur...missed all the double entrende jokes but loved the dinosaur....

The only one scarred was the old man who loved the TV show on Channel 0 back in the 1970's in the afternoons.

Totally devastated by this screen flopperoo...and Ferrell has the audacity to play the orginal theme song on the banjo at the fire place.

Dunno why it became a """"comedy"""".

Another childhood TV show torn to ribbons. Leave them alone Hollywood & come up with some orginality!!!!

...actually I just watched the TV intro for the 70's version on YouTube and I think my 10 year old memories should remain just as that....

They showed that scene on At The Movies :thumbsd:

Yes the original had cheesy special effects but it was a serious sci-fi show for kids that had writers who had worked on Star Trek.

So am I, that's why when my son suggeested we go see it I agreed. I didn't know it was a comedy, until I saw people coming in with their rug rats. That made the whole experience even worse, about 40 kids aged from about 4 to 9, all talking, screeching the whole time.

Very average movie.

Didn't think it was as bad as what some people have made it out to be.

It's probably enjoyable if you didn't grow up watching the TV show.
