Can't wait for it. That 'promo' is sh*thouse though.
Hopefully the writers go in a different direction this season. Especially after the end of the last season, where Vince gets a Scorsese movie after getting fired. Rubbish.

The show has been battling since Ari chose Vince over being head of a studio, that was just unbelievably lame..
I want to see Vince back on top.
I reckon the season will start after Vince has shot his Scorsese movie, so hopefully he will be. An episode dedicated to an overseas promotional junket would be good.
Looking forward to Turtle's storylines this series, especially as he is going out with Meadow Soprano (wawaweewa).

Turtle needs to turn his life around. I'd like to see him settle down with a civilian. That won't happen though, as they need a freeloader.
LeBron James, Tom Brady, 50 Cent, Marky Mark again, Steve Nash, Zac Efron (vomit), Leno and some others I cant remember right now all making cameos.
I liked Season 5, even though consensus was mixed. More Mrs.Ari, Perry Reeves please.

I agree that that was a bad move, but I don't think the actual quality of the show has diminished.
I hope it does come back after Vince has finished the Scorses movie because I don't want to see any scenes with his horrible acting.

You could say it was the equivalent of Juande Ramos being sacked from Spurs and landing the job at Real Madrid.
Finally a sneak peak for Season 6, looks like it will start after the Great Gatsby.

My god - Sloane is, is, is... words cannot describe the hawtness.
Looks like they are putting the constructs in to make this the last season...

I agree, solid start to the season... A few laughs, mostly from Drama as usual... Sloane is hot hot hot, forget Megan Fox, I think she's the hottest in the world... Absolute gun...
The Ari/Lloyd storyline will be interesting. 100 days of hazing for Lloyd should bring the laughs...
I like the Lloyd/Ari thing.
However if they run a whole season 'boys drifting apart' story arc I think it could be the death of the show.
It's charm is it's theme of male bonding and companionship and this is where it gains it's comedy and watchability. Having them not together is interesting for a few weeks to see how they cope, but as a permanent thing it significantly alters the premise of a good show.
I would love to be part of the casting for this show- "alright, for this week we need 27 chicks, two of which will have a speaking part ... bring em in".
The boys will end up back together before the season closes. Prediction: Turtle gets his heart broke, Drama gets sacked (he is destined to not be successful!) and E ends up with Sloane and gets engaged/married, because she needs more screen time for the betterment of the male race.

Im going to go against the grain here and say I didnt love the episode like others did. The Sloan/E storyline seemed like a total re-hash of their "drama", they completely rushed the LLoyd angle that just like how they rushed the season finale last season (best friend to enemies to scorcase movie in a 10 minute span)
I liked the storyline with Vinny and his boys are leaving him as that was fresh and new, but the rest I wasnt that impressed by.

loved seeing a new episode... Liked the end with Vince alone in the house... I think the Turtle with the sepranos chick will last cause it's in the season preview so will last a few episodes anyway... The Drama show will still continue along i think with the preview also showing that his character get's a love interest in his "hit" tv show so he will stay there... plus he still has his own house remember... E is staying in the new house and i think they will stay friends for a few eps before anything happens with them... Love Sloan... they should write back in that georgious blode friend back in from last season... ohh dear... soo hot... anyway.. the Ari/Lloyd thig should be funny... Ari stated this season brilliantly aswell... all in all a good start to the season... Also i'm looking forward to seeing the cars Vince drives in that new Fararri movie he's doing... Farrari..? ahh what ever it is.. the car movie.. lokos good...
Cheers

Looks that way, not a big fan of the character, but adds another string to Ari's story.
Completely agree that Sloan has upped the ante in hotness this season. Mrs Gold still gold too.
Got a bit of a chortle from the Drama stuff, particularly when Ari failed to acknowledge his hi-five :D
As long as they keep the Ari and Drama gags, and keep Sloan (http://wildstyleblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/Emmanuelle-Chriqui-3.jpg) in the show, I'll be watching.
So excited its back, but sucks that we have to wait another week for Episode 2.
If they wanted to be sharp they could get Andrew (thats the guy right) to keep bringing in big names and then shaft Ari and go back to running his own place thus stealing clients from Ari, or alternatively he becomes the king dick of Ari's agency and for the first time in the show Ari is taken down a peg and humbled.

Yeah this arc they're following with Andrew is completely unnecessary, and just takes screen time away from more likeable characters.

Emmanuelle Chriqui is back mmmmmmmm
http://www.celebrity-pictures.ca/Celebrities/Emmanuelle-Chriqui/Emmanuelle-Chriqui-1085645.jpg
Finally got around to download it.
****ing wish that the uploader of the torrent would just let the credits run...
Anyways, thought the episode was pretty good, not necessarily what I would a season premiere episode would be, but still good.
Don't mind Andrew, but why does Turtle even sound different... and yes Chriqui is gold:thumbsu:
I enjoyed it... the first episode is never the best, but sets the season up well.
The show has really been based around celebrity excess and all the boys doing stuff together, so it will be interesting to see how the writers handle everyone going in separate directions.
I think this season will be about the lads branching out into their own ventures, initially they'll do well but in the end all will turn to shit, Vinnie will bail them out, and they'll all end up living with back under one roof again.
I've had a soft spot for Turtle since the show began, so was very happy he ended up with someone as hot as Meadow Soprano at the end of last season. Hopefully they stay together, but I think Turtle's prospective limo company will go belly up and he will get dumped.
Glad to see Sloane back (schwing), but if she gets back with E I think it will ruin him and drive a wedge into the group. Look for them to get engaged before breaking up late in the season. Sloane will give E an ultimatum and he'll choose the lads.
Dunno where Drama will go this season... he will either win an Emmy or end up unemployed and back in Vinnie's shadow. I'd like to see both happen TBH.
Ari's season will be based around Lloyd's promotion and the whole 100 day initiation (ie humiliation), and problems within the company associated with David. Either David will attempt to usurp Ari's power, or will drag him down with alcohol.
As for Vinnie, I think he will initially have trouble coming to terms with the lads doing their own thing, but will gradually rescue them one by one as their lives eventually turn to shit.
The last scene of the season will be the boys finally back together again... and the status quo restored.

One of my favorite shows, accept I think they really need to create some major plot turns in order to keep it going. We have seen Vince at his peak and his worst. Cant keep following the same plot otherwise it will get the axe.
Expanding, how many seasons do you think this show has? I'm hoping another 3.

Really boring series so far.
That bird Ashley looks like a female Gollum and generally freaks me out.
Really boring series so far.
With Johnny Drama always there, I don't think boring is the right word... But there's been nothing spectacular so far... I did like the Seth Rogan dialogue...
The problem with the new guy is he's cheating on his wife... Surprised Ari is making such a big deal out of it to be honest... Need to see more of Lloyd... And we can never see enough of Sloan

Just saw Ep 2.
The jury's still out for me as to whether Ashley (E's neighbour) is a stunner. Looked a lot better in that last scene for some reason.
I think Sloan's getting hotter with each episode. I now feel that it is my duty to post a link to a picture of her (http://s5.tinypic.com/27zgorp.jpg) in every post I make in this thread :D.
Like the twist with Ari's offsider Andrew. Provides another challenge for Mr Gold, rather than him just berating Lloyd, promoting Vinnie (not that that wasn't hilarious!)
Wonder when Dana Gordon will be making an appearance? Thought she might've been at the Gatsby premier offering Vinnie a new role...
The end of each episode is right up there with the worst moments of my week.

I must be the only one that thinks Sloan is a terrible character.
I must be the only one that thinks Sloan is a terrible character.
The show isn't exactly based around the female cast at all, infact about every female character is based around the story of one of the blokes. Never really thought about that but I suppose that is how the show has always been structured.

Very tame. I was surprised by how quickly this series came out. The results are pretty clear.
I think Seinfeld is the theme of this season... a season about nothing!
The writing so far has been absolutely pathetic. Not only are the episode plots virtually non existent, but there are no overarching season storylines and the lack of banter has made the show very mundane and unEntourage like.
Has Entourage jumped the shark?

Yeah it hasn't been great so far, hopefully some major plot lines will develop over the next few eps. But with Vinnie not shooting his movie til later it could just be more of the same.. Hope not.

Stop screwin with my expectations! :p
Not only did nothing happen, the show went backwards. Sloan running E's life? E being surly about it? Even the Drama-isms are getting stale. Marky Mark probably had more lines than Vince in that episode which was nothing short of a wank fest for celebrities.
Marky Mark probably had more lines than Vince in that episode which was nothing short of a wank fest for celebrities.
isn't that the premise of the show? what Celebrities were there apart from Wahlburg and Tom Brady we don't normally see?
I thought it was the best episode of the season (still not saying a whole lot), mainly due to Drama and his golfing habits... Loved Mark paying him out a whole lot... Still getting giggles at what Ari is doing to Lloyd too...
E is getting a little dry, but that's because he's doing his own thing a lot, not having a whole lot to do with the boys at the moment...
jordanrobbo3
11 Aug 2009, 14:33
Judging it on the storyline, it was a crap ep. But I loved it, Marky Mark is the man..had some great lines directed at Drama. And Turtle just back flipping on his Brady hatred was funny too.
Storylines need to start lifting though!!

It definetly hasn't been a great season but at the same time, there doesn't have to be something going wrong all the time. The boys are just having fun at the moment and it would be the same thing all the time if they did, Vinnie scores movie part, movie part falls apart, ari saves the day etc. Sometimes there aren't complications?
I'm sure something will happen soon.
Lord_Travis
12 Aug 2009, 17:26
Yeah somethings going to go wrong soon.
Vince's movie got pushed back 12 weeks, who's to say it wont get delayed again or canceled? Vince is bored too, that could lead to some decent storylines like a crazy adventure, addictions etc if they went that route.
E's got Sloane back in the picture setting up his life, but at the same time throwing it into turmoil. There's still plenty to work with there.
Drama now has Jamie-Lynn coming onto his show for what is suppose to be one scene. As if they wont go the route of OMG JAMIE-LYNN IS ON OUR SHOW MAKE HER A REGULAR!!!
Which will piss Turtle off, and cause him and Drama to start fighting, and his relationship to become strained.
Point is there is heaps to work with, it's just moving at a slow pace at the moment. Calm before the storm if you will. In saying that it hasnt been a great season, though better than Season 4, which I thought was the worst by a mile. Here's hoping next week it starts to pick up and get chaotic!

Ep 4 was waaaay too boring.
They started and finished with E to try and show he was boring without the boys or something.
The whole point of the show is 4 blokes mucking about together.
Not 4 blokes mucking about by themselves with ladies. That would be a SOAP!
PLEASE DONT TURN IT INTO A SOAP!
