Notice a few supporters not happy with the boy. Going to be huge for us, not a problem.

They look at last Saturday's game in isolation. That is their problem. They'll be soon eating their words.

I liked how someone on the main board said Watson wasn't in our top 3. That was pretty funny. (Almost as funny as the resident troll that only posts when we loose, not when it's team wins.)

Cupido might take a week or two to settle in. He looks great.

When Cupido was at Brisbane he was not a team player. Very selfish, never did the team things.Has flair and skill but. I hope he can learn from Sheedy and put it all together but I wouldnt hold my breathe.

He might not give the ball off if he takes a mark within 50, but with a kick he has, I'd back him in 9 times out of 10.

If we had more of the ball last week, he could have kicked a number of 9 point goals.

Yep I agree...I have not seen enough of the boy to say one way or the other. He looks as strong as an ox...
I hope for our sake that he can kick a few bags this season.

Could become a Jeff Farmer type - when he's on he's on but when he's not he's not - and with the flair to match. Looks capable of kicking a bag on his day, lets hope he can do it regularly like the Wiz did in 2000.

My first impression of Cupido is he doesn't appear to be very consistent. He looks like the sort of bloke who gets towelled for a quarter and then kicks five goals in the next. I'd like to see him play at a reasonably high level from week to week.

Plenty of time for him to make a name for himself at the club.

I'm willing to give him time. I was very impressed with what I'd seen him do with the Lions a couple years ago, but hes hardly played in 18 months due to injury. Give him time to get back into the game and he could be a superstar.

Have always liked the boy, ever since he first played for Brisbane.
Hopefully last night will get a few people to come around and see he will be great for us.

He reminds me so much of Des Headland, maybe with a bit more class.

Yous also got McPhee in the deal, and only gave up Caracella?? yous cleaned up majorly in that deal.

Yes, but we also lost Heffernan, Blumfield and Moorcroft. Maybe not in the same deal, but it still more than compensates for picking up Cupido.
