I am posting this here because some of you haven't been checking the cricket forum recently where the original message was posted http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I have decided that along with me as Captain, the WA side will have 2 vice-captains. The squad consists of 12 players, bar the Captain there is 11 people to choose from for vice-captains:

sorry vis, didn't know i had to vote in any particular order, it was meant to be an even vote for everyone. But if it has to be 1,2,3 then my vote is:

Before we name the batting lineup for next weeks game, i was thinking of a game plan which i already posted up a few days ago.
Instead of putting our best batsmen in to face their best bowlers we should put in all-rounders to open. Even if they only survive 5 overs each, they would of together wasted 10 overs of the oppositions best bowlers overs. That way when the pure batsmen come in they will only have to face second rate bowlers thus allowing us to score more rapidly.
The downside to this is that if our all-rounders get bowled very early we will basically be starting 2 batsmen down. BUT, considering we lost last week quite badly, why not try it?
I'm not saying chuck in a pure bowler as an opener, but maybe the wicketkeeper and a batsmen with an average of 30-35.
If you want anymore "different" game plans, I got a million.

well im trying to find somewhere where I can download the program he uses for free but it seems its not a very popular program. Damn, I dont have any money to buy the full version http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif If I could buy the full version I would try a few things with our team and see how they went but unfortunately i cant. D4E - if everyone wants to change the batting lineup or just the openers then ill do the team thing but i thought Visro and I played pretty well to open the batting. I was almost a run a ball and got the runs ticking over while Vis played the anchor role and went on to make 90 odd. I just got out a little earlier than i would have liked.
We only lost by 5 runs so i think we should just let things settle before making changes.
If I do buy the program I will experiment with the team lineup. BTW Im not only buying it for that purpose, but also to run a comp at school http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I think the program he uses is called Howzat One Day International Cricket but I couldn't be sure on that! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I see the teachers are doing the good old "we can't teach, lets pile on the homework to make up for lost time" crap. Same thing here. I've had 6 SAC's in the last 2 weeks. My friggin ENTER score is gonna be screwed up.
At least we only have a few days before our break comes, then its PARTY time!!!

3 vice captains to choose from for a particular match. Only 1 will be the actual vice captain.
Anyway if you dont like it I will cut it down but people have to tell me who they want.
