Brent 'Billy' Bowden is a New Zealand umpire and I think he does a pretty good job as well as being entertaining with his signals. It looks like he really enjoys his work which is good to see.

He very nearly got cleaned up by a screamer of a shot by Gilchrist (I think?) last night. We may have been putting in an obituary for him instead of a "Who is he" if that ball collected him on it's way to the boundary.

what a classic!!
This bloke certainly enjoys his cricket. His 4 signals are a pearler.

Great to see, I thought we had seen the end of the entertaining umpires after Dickie bird retired

Billy Bowden was a real hoot! He was a dead ringer of Willy Wonka (can someone find a look-alike pic?) and I loved the way he smacked the air to signal a 4.

I'm going to hunt around and see what other WC games he's umpiring
