Super Sid B.E.M (British Empire Medal??) will be 85(!!) on sunday.

Today i was driving past the intersection of Tapleys Hill and West Lakes Blvd, and the LJ Hooker office on that cnr has special occasions painted on the side window. Well this week is Happy Birthday Super Sid B.E.M. 85 on Sunday, and a portrait of him, bone dome included,But strangely he is in Norwood colours.
I was under the impression he followed Balmey to the Eags.
Any memories of this lovable lunatic?
