Anyone else like them.I love their current song- she hates me- its pretty cool i think.
Just thought id put this thread up to see if anyone else likes them.

My girlfriend got their album given to her for her last birthday by a mate. I was horrified, but in a moment of boredom at her house i gave it a spin and was actually suprised to hear that they weren't as completely sh*tful as i first thought when i heard that woeful Control "smack my arse" song.

'Blurry' is actually a rather well written, and very musical song IMO.

But at the end of the day, its just a watered down immitation of the likes of Alice in Chains and Nirvana minus the signature musicianship and credibility and is just very slickly marketed (signed to Fred Durt's Flawless records label) and extremely well produced (Andy Wallace) music for the kids.

The song isn't too bad, there is an evident Nirvana influene there. But i don't mind the song, haven't heard anything else from them yet.

An evident influence? When I first heard it I thought it was the "new" song off the Nirvana cash-in I mean "best of" that came out recently.

I just got that for the 'on hold' music before and always get a fright when i hear the voice coz it sounds too much like Kurt waaay too much! Wot a shame, i thought noone would ever replace that sound :(
