View Full Version : 25 Questions - Ashes Competition. (Yes we have a winner)

Cousin Jed

Like all remotely decent ideas on BigFooty, many of you will have seen a version of this on one of your boards before, and we have decided to copy it.

Below are 25 questions just copy the questions into your post and put your answer beside them. For the 5 that you are most confident about, put an * next to the answer these will be worth 4 points, the other 20 will be worth 2 points giving a total of a possible 60 points.

(For questions 1-6, and 13-18 and 24-25, if two players/countries are tied, both answers will be considered correct)

The thread will be locked late in the afternoon before the first test on July 8, just to keep you all honest. You have until then to get your answers in and you can edit your answers as many times as you want up until this point.

If there is more than 1 who finish on the top score, the winner will be the person who is closest to the tiebreaker answer. Confirmed: we will have a Platinum BFSC to give away to the winner,

Good luck. :thumbsu:

Nice idea, but isn't question 1 made redundant by questions 3 & 5?

I mean, you'd probably have a better chance of getting points if you answered 'Ponting' to the first question, but went with 'Katich' for the third.

Correct. Its a risk you can take. Although personally I think you'd be stupid to take Ponting.... ;)

1 question decided so far:

23. Will any team pass 550 in an innings? YES

I have put up a leaderboard just for the sake of it. The score in the last column is the number of possible points you can score from the remaining questions, taking into account that some of you have got wrong answers by putting down 0 for questions 8,10,12 and 5 for question 11.
