View Full Version : How many times.....Have you tipped Essendon this year?
Having taken Carlton against us again last week :(, I went back over the first 13 rounds to find that I have tipped the Bombers who are 7-6, a measly 4 times (vs Dockers, Kangaroos, Richmond, Melbourne).
So I'm just trying to work out if in fact Essendon have exceeded our expectations as supporters of the club, or if a few lean years has caused me to be way too pessimistic.
How many times out of 13 have you tipped Essendon this season and who are you taking tonight?
For the record, I'm taking Collingwood! :p
I've tipped us against:
Freemantle
North
Collingwood
Brisbane
Hawks
Richmond
Melbourne
Carlton
Might have tipped us for Adelaide also.
Think Collingwood has the better team tonight, but I give us an outside chance.
I have tipped us against everybody for my whole life. This will continue. :thumbsu:
I tipped us all bar three games, Hawks, Saints and Cats

Best tip of the year for me: Essendon over Collingwood on ANZAC Day. ;)
Though I've picked Collingwood tonight, but wouldnt at all be upset to be proven wrong

Have tipped Essendon every game except the Hawks Cats & Saints game.. Ambitious I know but thats how I tip. I am doing OK in tipping, 5/50 - just in sight of the leader !
Disappointed so few Bomber Brothers tipped us to win tonight.. Have confidence - we are a better side I am certain of it..

Same. No matter how good we are or how bad we are I will never tip against us. Just can't do it.
Every match bar Port, Hawks, Geelong and Saint Kilda.

Every game except the Cats I have tipped us!

Tipped us against Carlton last week, and against Collingwood last night.
I used to only tip Bombers. Then I decided I should approach my tipping the same way my team would approach a match. Play hard. Be ruthless. Now I can sleep at night when I tip against us :rolleyes:
I tipped Geelong, Hawthorn, St Kilda.
I'll tip us to smash Sydney. No Barry Hall and too much pace. McVeigh and Watson in. A point to prove.

Wasn't looking for it and I'm 5 from 5 for this round. Normally I tip us, but I have no problem tipping agaisnt us. If we win then I am very happy and if we lose then at least I got a tip right.
I've tipped us about half the time. I remember getting us wrong against North.
First and last time I tipped against us this year was Hawks - I learnt my lesson...

I've tipped them every time they've won. The only time I tipped them and they lost was against Adelaide (we should've won that too).
You should've seen all my mates call me crazy for tipping them against Carlton (twice) and Collingwood on ANZAC Day. :)

I've tipped us 10 times. Would be 12 but forgot to tip the first half of round 7 when we played the hawks and I didn't tip either us or the crows and didn't realise at the time.

In years gone by I would have tipped us against the Saints and Cats to comply with my always tip essendon tactic.

Who's tipping us this week? I always think if I am the only one who tips them I'll be in front. If I don't tip them and we win, I am in front either way!

I've tipped Essendon in 10 out of 15 games.
My correct % with Essendon tips however is a measly 60%.

Guess what guys, I took Sydney against us last week.
That means I've taken us just 4 times out of 15 this season.
Oh and I'm tipping the Dogs for Friday night! :D
