Bangladesh: 7 for 198 off their 50 overs.

The Kiwis wont be happy with that bowling and fielding performance and will need to bat extremely well not only to win the game but also to build on their net run rate.

They'll get it about 38-40overs

still wont help their net run rate, which takes into account wickets taken, and runs scored off their bowling.

i can't believe the stupid commentators, including simon o'donnell on channel packer thought that it was a big win for the kiwis. thankfully, the voice of reason, ian chappell pointed out that allowing the bangers to score 198 was not really good enough from the kiwis. then to take 33 overs to score the runs was way too long as well.

the kiwis may rue this mediocre performance, but they're still in it for now.

New Zealand will make the Super Six stage because they will have 4 wins after they beat Canada and unless something umbelievable happens in the other games, I can't see them missing out.

For them to miss out, West Indies need to win their last 2 games to go to 4 & 1/2 wins, Sri Lanka need to beat South Africa which will give them 4 wins and knock the Proteas out, Kenya need to beat Bangladesh to also go to 4 wins and New Zealand will have 4 wins.

If that happens, this will be the final standings for Pool B...

1. West Indies 4-1-1 = 18 points
2. Kenya 4-2-0 = 16 points (beat Sri Lanka and New Zealand)
3. Sri Lanka 4-2-0 = 16 points (beat New Zealand)
4. New Zealand 4-2-0 = 16 points (miss out on head to head)

Not impossible, but my money is on the Kiwis to make it.
