Pretty sad to hear the Saints supporters give him the bronx cheer late in the game. It's not like they didn't know what they were getting - a potential matchwinner who goes missing more often than not

I only saw the 2nd half of the game, but Gherig didn't have much of an impact in the game. I think Blight is having a bit of trouble finding the forward to go down and play as a defender. Has Barry Hall or Gherig worked as yet down back?
Gherig was pretty poor but i expected him to be. A bronx cheer though i thought was a little uncalled for. I feel sorry for him as he looks like he is going to get the same treatment from Saints fans as he did from WC fans. I was never one to boo Gherig though, i dont really like jeering our own players, cant do much for there confidence.
Gehrig being jeered in only his third game for the Saints.....
Its going to be a long season for him
He was lethargic and crap. The West australian gave hom 2/10. Worst on ground.
Gehrig has only played for 2 weeks and probably has played prematurely after his injury.
He has had no preseason so lets wait for a while before writing him off as a dud!

Gehrig is playing crap and Seira is out injured for the year, both got unlucky, just thats ours will hopefully pay off in the long run and gehrig, well, will stay as gehrig!

Gehrig's no dud - one day in the next 19 rounds he will fire and swing a game off his own boot (remember WCE v Hawthorn last year). You just have to be prepared to carry him for the other 18 games, that's all

He is a Dud. Great ability but nothin between the ears. Yea Blighty may fire him up for an odd game, not in defence though. He told Malyhouse he would go East unless he was played forward.
