Which 2 teams do you think has the biggest rivalry in cricket today?

I used to think nothing could compare to the Ashes...but to Pakistan and India, matches against each other is more than that just cricket...

Aus V Eng (in any sport) is pure rivalry ignited by sporting passions. India V Pakistan borders on hatred ignited by government politics. Their supporters really, really HATE defeat. Examples include Wasim Akrams house being burnt down and also a Pakistan supporter shooting his TV and then himself after being defeated by India at the last World Cup. Also seeing posters of Ganguly and Tendulkar being burnt as well as effigys of Akram after the 99 WC disgust me, it makes the bagging of some our players who have a bad game or 2 look pretty lame.

Is 'rivalry' the right word for two teams who won't play on each other's soil?

and possibly in a couple days, and for years to come:

Pakistan and India have by far the biggest rivalry in cricket.

Let me qualify that: for teams that never play each other.

I wouldn't call India v Pakistan a rivalry rather pure hatred.

yeah, those Indian supporters really let Waqar have it at the end of match speech. Robin Jackman did his best I guess to tell the crowd to shut up.

I reckon people were still angry about the two beamers he sent down to Symonds!

Hehe, doubt it mate. Those boos would still have come even if Waqar gift wrapped those couple of deliveries to Symonds.
