I'd say no. They haven't made any big impacts on their new clubs as yet and I think the players we have been able to bring into our side have done just as good as job as White or Gehrig did when they were with us last year.

Gehrig no, but Mitch yes. There would always be a place for Mitch in an Eagles side of my choice. He's not doing badly for Geelong.

Gehrid was a burden. Him wanting to leave us was a blessing, we got kerr from the trade with the Saints.

White is a good player but was our weakness. We relied on him getting the ball past half-forward. If he was playing bad we had no alternatives and CHF. Now we are forced to find other options and thus will benefit in the long run.

But i would have loved to see him play with us till his retirement.

If we still had Mitchell White I would venture to say Trent Carroll would not be getting a game with the Eagles.

I dont think Trent has fared to well to this point.

Similarly, Mitchell White will always be one of our favourites.

But I ask you all would we boo him when next he plays at Subi. He did leave the Club of his own accord. Or do we remember him for the great memories. He was a Premiership player. Personally I think he will always be one of our favourite sons. We should all wish him well.

were missing Mitch to a certain extent - but if we had Mitchell White in our side, we probably wouldn't of epxerimented with Cox at ruck at Gardiner at CHF.

So far Gardiner has already shown he can but twice as good as CHF than White was, while Cox has shown he had the potential to be the number 1 ruck in the competition within 5 years.

Fraser Gehrig - defintaly not missing.

Gehrig - no

With White its a tough one and i think the move of letting him go will prove good for us in the end, by letting him go i think we've recieved the following benefits:

- trying Gardiner at CHF and allowing Cox to ruck

- recruiting Troy Wilson, the reason i say this is because if White was still with us, he would probably be looked at as the replacement for Cummings (just my opinion)

So yeah, i think it was the right thing to do, only time will tell

I like both White and Gehrig but i dont think we really miss either of them. We seem to be kicking a lot of goals and i think our CHF line is getting better with every game. White though would be welcome back anytime.

We definately are not missing gehrig and so far I would say are benefiting from whites departure, as we have discovered the Cox Gardiner working formula. Lets hope that we can still say this at the end of the year http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif!
