Yeah but it's not his prick he is famous for, it's his tongue! ;)

Actually, tasteless as it sounds, I believe he is rather famous for his prick as well.

Shouldn't he be famous for his music?

I went and seen KI$$ play on Friday night and I must say that Gene was in great form.
He stole the show.
His voice was as good as I've heard it.
Goin Blind and Great Expectations were the highlights of the night in my opinion.
No Ace was a let down.

My boyfriend is a big fan, couldn't make it to the show but he was raving on and on about them performing 'Beth', was wondering if that was a highlight too?

Yes it certainly was. That was played in the acoustic set (along with Goin Blind amongst others) and sounded great with the strings ensemble.
You could really see how proud Peter Chriss was to finally sing his trademark song with "real" strings in front of 30,000 screaming fans.
It was a great night.
There were a few moving moments and that was one of them.
For Great Expectations they had a boys choir on stage. It was a great show.
I thought they would have played some Music From The Elder as that has orchestra music on it but they wont touch that one. Pity really coz I played that album on Saturday night and it is very good.

Yes we were speculating on whther The Elder might get some airtime, but I think Gene and Paul are trying to forget that album was ever made.

Maybe I'm a traditionalist but my favourite part of the night was the first set - Deuce into Strutter was great and Calling Dr. Love was a highlight as well.

Didn't think Peter's voice was too crash hot on Beth.

No Ace was a let down but Tommy Thayer was very impressive.

Can't go wrong with Deuce into Strutter! :D

Ace is easily my favourite member of Kiss so I'm glad I didn't waste my $$$ on yet another "Last Kiss Goodbye"

Funnily enough my favourite song from "Music from the Elder" is the instumental "Escape from the island" & I'm not a big fan of instrumentals usually.

The Oath is a close second from that album, which isn't nearly as bad as the band make it out to be. It's a hell of a lot better than "Unmasked"(Crap apart from the singles & 1 or 2 others), "Animalize" & "Carnival of Souls"

There were two real rock and rollers in Kiss.

Then there were two busninessmen who were so focused on using their medium to sell toys to children, they made Disney blush.

Of the two Rock and Rollers, one of them wasn't Gene Simmons or Paul Stanley. The other one also wasn't Gene Simmons or Paul Stanley.

Peace,

Under the Rose is possibly Ace's best solo.

Great album, everyone should grab the remaster.

I know when I'm jamming, we always have a ****ing hoot trying the Oath!
